Carefully break the top third off the eggs; empty the eggs and wash and dry the shells. Dye, paint or decorate the eggs as desired.

Prop the shells up with sand, modeling clay or suitably sized candleholders.

Fill the egg vases with water and place small flowers inside. In the spring you can use lily of the valley, bluebells and violets.
